Message from the President

　Tsuruga Terminal is the only commercial chemical tank terminal company along the central Sea of Japan coast to own a fleet of chemical tanks moored in a corner of the Port of Tsuruga for handling its customers' most precious cargo.

　There are few chemical tank terminals along the Sea of Japan coast, suggesting that the demand for our services, based on our location, is likely to remain stable. We are striving to improve safety and quality while meeting the needs of our customers, and are contributing to the development of our customers and our local communities.

Tsuruga Terminal was originally founded as a joint investment by three companies: Dainippon Ink & Chemicals (now DIC Corporation), Mitsubishi Corporation, and Japan Freight Railway Company. A subsequent share transfer has taken place, and all company shares are now held by Tatsumi Shokai Co., Ltd.

This means that the chemical terminal business and sales development expertise nurtured by Tatsumi Shokai Co., Ltd. will be expanded, and we anticipate that this will greatly enhance the quality of our operations. We feel that we are about to embark on a new journey toward achieving this.
